Our SKALA abstract print series has now evolved to include fine bone china tableware. This small mug is part of a range which also includes large mugs and plates that link through colour and pattern.
Each design is created with an eclectic melange of shapes sourced from obsolete machine parts and obscure technical symbols. The various elements have been redrawn as flat vector graphics that combine to create dynamic, flowing compositions.
This collection was launched at London Design Fair 2017 and sold out before we could add it to the online shop. Thankfully we’ve now been able to restock all items and make them available with free UK shipping on all orders.
Our SKALA designer mugs are produced in Staffordshire, the home of the English pottery industry. We’ve combined contemporary graphics with traditional skills and craftsmanship to produce distinctive pieces you can use every day.
The vivid colours are silkscreen printed and then kiln fired to achieved a lasting result with a glossy white glaze. These exquisite fine bone china mugs are designed for everyday use and completely dishwasher and microwave safe.
