This distinctive candle holder has been cast in powdered slate polymer from a reclaimed helical gearbox cog. We love the sculptural quality of this discarded machine component and fantastic shadows created by it’s feathered teeth. By happy accident the centre opening accepts a 25mm candle and the surface features a recess perfectly formed to capture any dripping wax!
Carefully blended coloured pigments are combined with a hardwearing slate polymer to create a wonderful palette of subtle muted shades. Our homeware collection is all made in small batches by hand at our workshop. Natural variation in material colour and casting imperfections mean that each candle holder is a singular, one-off piece.
