Our SKALA abstract print series has now evolved to include fine bone china tableware. The collection was launched at London Design Fair 2017 and sold out before we could add it to the online shop. Thankfully we’ve now been able to restock all items and make them available with free UK shipping on all orders.
Each design is created with an eclectic melange of shapes sourced from obsolete machine parts and obscure technical symbols. The various elements have been redrawn as flat vector graphics that combine to create dynamic, flowing compositions. Designed at the imagesurgery studio and crafted in Staffordshire using only finest materials at a state-of-the-art facility. We’ve combined contemporary design with traditional skills and craftsmanship to produce distinctive pieces you can use every day. The vivid colours are silkscreen printed and then kiln fired to achieved a lasting result with a glossy white glaze. These exquisite fine bone china mugs are surprisingly hardy and completely safe in a dishwasher or microwave.
