This exclusive series of framed butterfly art was created by imagesurgery founder Joseph Warren in 2007. The debut exhibition at Medcalf Gallery in London’s Exmouth Market generated widespread national press coverage and high-profile commissions. Over the years, the collection has expanded into a range of sizes and formats, and has been exhibited across major European cities, the US, and Japan. The series is no longer in production, but the few remaining pieces available are shown below.

The concept behind this series stems from ideas of fragility and a love of vintage cartography. By pairing the delicate form of the butterfly with the intricate detail of printed maps, the artwork creates something that is both visually stunning and rich with deeper meaning.
